Malekith's Self-Training

*Malekith quickly enters the Archives. As he removes his hood he looks around the large room. He notices a shadowy figure at the other end of the room, but ignores it. He walks back and forth through the archives until he sees a wall lined with gleeming black and red pyramids. He walks up to the wall and picks up a holocron.*

"I don't have time for this... no, not this one."

*He tosses the holocron to the ground, and looks at another.*

"Not this one either, damnit!"

*He throws another holocron to the ground. Rage fills his voice.*

"WHERE IS IT!"

*Malekith grabs another holocron, and stares at it for several seconds. He growls angrily and throws it to the ground as well.*

*Malekith continued to search for a particular holocron, while littering the floor with others. As he angrily tossed another one to the ground, a apprentice walked up to him.*

Apprentice: "What are you doing!? You are desecrating this sacred place. Pick those up and leave at once!"

*Malekith turned to the apprentice. An evil grin came across his face. He took the holocron that was in his hand, and threw it across the room.*

Apprentice: "The Dark Lord will here of this! Then you will wish you had never been born!"

*Malekith grabs the appretice by the throat.*

"Hold your tounge you wretched filth. Do you think I fear your Dark Lord? Bring him here, then we will see who wishes they had never been born."

*Malekith pushes the apprentice to the ground, and the apprentice scurrys off into the shadows. He turns back to the walk and picks up another holocron. His eyes light up and the evil grin returns to his face.*

"Ah, here it is!"

*He stares into the holocron, and sees a figure of the ancient Sith Lord Naga Sadow.*

*After hours of staring into the Holocron of Naga Sadow, Malekith removes his gaze from the small pyramid. Still with an evil grin on his face. Another apprentice walked up to him. The grin turned to a tremendous frown and Malekith angrily spoke to the apprentice.*

"What do you want? Speak! Quickly!"

Apprentice: "Perhaps you do not know why you were sent here?"

"I was sent here to find answers." *Malekith nods indicating the Holocron of Naga Sadow.* "And I believe I found them."

Apprentice: "That is what the dark messenger says to all of the hopefuls."

"Hopefuls? What are you going on about?"

Apprentice: "You have been selected to learn in the ways of the Sith. You were sent here to the archives to train yourself in the ways of the Dark Side. Once you feel that you are ready, you must go seek the Dark Lord, and he alone will decide your fate."

"I do not need your Sith teachings. I am fine on my own."

*Malekith gets up to leave. The apprentice grabs his arm.*

Apprentice: "I know what you want, you want what all of us want... POWER! If you learn the ways of the Dark Side, power and glory will be yours!"

*Malekith pulls his arm away from the apprentice. He begins to look intrigued. The apprentice points to the holocrons Malekith threw on the floor.*

Apprentice: "Study those a little more closely, they will teach you the ways of the Sith, and the Dark Side of the Force."

*The apprentice walks away. Malekith slowly walks back towards the pile of holocrons. He leans down and picks one up.*

*Malekith stares into the holocron. A man appears inside the small pyramid. By the way his clothing look he now or at one time a Sith Lord.*

Sith Lord:"Welcome to the Dark Side young one. I will be your guide to learning the ways of the Sith. Of course before we begin any basic training you must first learn the Sith's Code of the Dark Side...

Peace is a lie,
There is only passion,
Through passion I gain strength,
Through strength I gain power,
Through power I gain victory,
Through victory my chains are broken,
The Force shall set me free!

You must know the code by heart if you are to get anywhere within the Sith Order. Learn it, know it, live it. Before we continue your instruction of the Dark Side, take some time to learn the code, and understand its true meaning."[/b]

*Malekith sits at a table with the holocron in his hand. He impatiently studies the code and tries to understand its meaning.*
