The three suns were high and it sure was damn bloody hot on the planet of Tatooine. The following showdown took place in a small settlement, with only one cantina, a few houses, a general store and a speeder garage. On the main street everything was quiet, and most people were hiding in their houses. They were curious though, and so they were looking out their windows, carefully, to what was about to happen.

On one end of the street stood a Duros bounty hunter, wearing his big hat, and his hands close to the two blasters he kept in the holsters attached to his belt. He stood there, glancing at his opponent in front of him, ready for whatever was going to happen.

The light of the three suns fell across the horizon, illuminating the sand. To the left there was sand. To the right there was sand. Behind you there was? You guessed it! Sand. And a tumbleweed. The dried out and dead weed rolled across the ground with a little twister of sand. It was like the ocean except tan and filled with grain upon grain of sand. It was so... boring. Like a piece of blank paper or a really hot fire that never moved.

Bismarck yawned. The sun and sand was nothing new to him. He cracked his neck and looked across the field that separated him and his opponent. Some Duros who wanted to die. Bismarck smiled. He would be happy to oblige that wish. He drew his heavy blades and rushed the man. His feet kicked up dust into his eyes and 'nose' but he didn't stop. The glands in his flesh allowed him to brush the sand right off without any negative effect. Quite the handy ability considering the terrain.

He closed the short distance and slashed laterally, his silver blades arcing towards his opponent's chest and arms. They ached for a taste of blood. His last fight had only been a few short days ago. He needed some blood on his hands again.

Bullet could barely dodge the attack and was somewhat impressed, though he didn't show he was. He fell to the ground and quickly aimed both his blaster, firing a rain of energy bolts at his enemy. This crazy guy had to die, and Bullet had to live. He couldn't die in a wasteland. He couldn't die in a stupid desert!

After his rain of energy bolts, Bullet rolled away and then quickly got on his feet, walking backwards, and still firing energy bolts from both his blasters.

Bismarck fell back into the sand, the ridge of his forehead skimming the edge of a bullet. He rolled against the dirt, covering his body in the rough substance. Being a Nikto he was quite accustomed to the desert. Even so, the impact hurt like a bitch. Beads of blood dripped from where the flesh of his forehead was ripped from the bullet. One of the horns surrounding his face chipped off, adding another trickle of blood to the droplets falling from his face.

Growling he rolled to his feet, almost nicking his throat with his blades in the hasty motion. He lunged forward, stabbing out with his right hand blade. His other slashed towards the Duros in a wicked cross, just to the left of the man's face. He put his right foot back with the blow and kicked out to hook his foot to the man's ankle and trip him.

The stab missed Bullet, but the other blade hit him and cut his face. Bullet growled in pain and then he fell to the ground. The crazy Nikto was dangerous, and it looked like this was a battle that would end pretty quickly. In a negative way for Bullet.

But, Bullet was not giving up that easily. He still had his blasters and a knife and... the grenade!

As Bismarck was very close to Bullet now, the Duros fired off some more bolts and then tried to stand up. As he got on his feet he put the grenade in Bismarck's collar, and then backed away, while firing another rain of bolts at the Nikto.

A grenade in the collar would normally be quite a deadly advantage, but Bismarck was able to get it out. He tossed it with all of his strength behind him, diving forward to escape the blast. It exploded and the shock wave hit him in the back. Shrapnel collided with the wraid leather armor, some piercing into his back and shoulder. He grimaced as the metal cut into him, but the adrenaline coursing through his veins numbed it to a dull ache.

He rolled to his feet, barely avoiding the storm of bullets thundering down on him. One caught his cybernetic arm, throwing the arm out and tossing his sword out of his hand.

He kept his momentum and pounced like a panther at the Duros. He held his single sword in a two handed grip and angled it to plunge into Bullet's chest with all of his force.

Bullet was busy dodging that strike, and was taking steps back, but it seemed that he was unable to get away in time. The blade cut his chest and he roared in intense pain. The anger, the hatred, the insanity, it all took over and he was driven by intense pain.

He still was able to aim both of his blasters and pulled the triggers a few times, firing shots at Bismarck's abdomen. The Nikto was very close to the Duros, so it would be pretty hard dodging. And Bullet kept firing. Shooting until his enemy would die, or he would die trying to kill the Nikto.

Yes, Bullet knew he was going to die this time. He knew this would result in his own bitter end, but he would not go out that easily. He would continue to shoot as long as he could.

Whatever was going to happen next, a lot of blood would flow...
